Automation Devices Develops Rhino Skates, Ultra Durable Material Handling Cart

Automation Devices, Inc. is releasing a new material handling cart, known as Rhino Skates.

Erie, PA, November 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI) has released a brand new item to its material handling line of products. Rhino Skates, is a dual set of bulk material handling carts featuring six (6) swivel casters. Designed to carry lumber, or other stackable material, Rhino Skates as a pair are rated for 6,000 pounds. Rhino Skates joins the Fork Rhino, a fork lift truck attachment, in ADI’s products that provide material handling solutions.

Rhino Skates was developed for an in-house need to transport bunks of lumber around the manufacturing plant. “We needed something that was easy to maneuver through narrow walkways and around tight corners without being unmanageable and destructive,” explains ADI President Kevin Smith. “Seeing how easily over 2 tons of lumber could be moved by hand, the Rhino Skates could be used in many other applications.”

Rhino Skates can be pushed by hand easily on flat, smooth surfaces or can be towed utilizing Automation Devices’ Fork Rhino fork lift attachment. A forklift in conjunction with the Fork Rhino attachment makes moving materials up or down slight grades easy and controllable.

Rhino Skates are a product of Automation Devices, Inc. manufacturing company located in Fairview, PA whose main product line consists of vibratory feeders and components. For a closer look at Rhino Skates, please visit www.autodev.com or call Automation Devices, Inc. at 814-474-5561.
