American Law Society Recognizes Kristina Lyke

The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Kristina Lyke has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.

East Lansing, MI, March 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Kristina Lyke is an award-winning attorney at The Law Offices of Kristina Lyke. Kristina earned her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in International Law and Litigation. During law school, she completed 40 hours of mediation training, served as senator of her class, and received an international certificate from San Diego Law School, among other student awards. Prior to law school, Kristina earned her undergraduate degree in political science from Eastern Michigan University, where she attended on scholarship. Indeed, while studying at Eastern Michigan she received the prestigious Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Fraternity Award.

Kristina has demonstrated civic engagement to her state of Michigan by serving as an elected councilwoman for two consecutive terms. She was the youngest person to be elected to the board and received a record number of votes. She worked as a legislative assistant to Representative Paul Deweese, and as an assistant to Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus.

Kristina has taken advantage of numerous opportunities to give back academically. Eastern Michigan University invited Kristina to speak at two symposiums on the topic of political science. She has also been a speaker and adjunct professor at Thomas Cooley Law School. As a testament to her legal acumen, civic engagement and commitment to educating others, in 2011, Kristina was honored with the Ingham Bar Association Young Lawyers Award in "recognition of exemplary legal scholarship, advancement of and in the legal profession, and community service."
