Chicago, IL, April 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Multi-faceted expo for homebuyers, homeowners and investors.

Increasing value in the housing market in communities across the Chicago area is part of a new initiative launched by RE/MAX® brokers LaShawn Brown and Warren Davis, through their non-for-profit organization, The Village Network, NFP.

The organization founders announces that its 3rd Annual Chicago Housing Expo, which takes place on April 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Malcolm X Community College, 1900 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago, Illinois, 60612. Homebuyers, homeowners and investors are encouraged to attend this free event, which is supported by many of Chicago Aldermen and City of Chicago delegate agencies such as Neighborhood Housing Services, Cook County Land Bank Authority, The Chicago Bungalow Association and Illinois Housing Development Authority.

Chicago Housing Expo 2017 is an opportunity for residents to speak with experts about buying, selling, investing and renovating homes, as well as to attend workshops and at a resource fair of over 60 Exhibitors.

Husband and wife team Warren and LaShawn Davis are on a mission to revitalize and improve homesteads across the city. “Access to good information, like the existence of decades-old but little-known consumer renovation programs that allow home buyers, owners and investors to tap into the future value to fund a home renovation is a highlight of this expo,” said Davis. “This becomes neighborhood revitalization with a focus on the homestead while using funds from private sector banks.”

One Exhibitor in particular, Shore Partners, provides a valuable free service to seamlessly guide homeowners, buyers and investors through the renovation process. The Chicago Housing Expo will have a variety of workshops on home ownership, credit management, down payment assistance, student loan assistance, and how to enter into the investor flip market--all toward removing obstacles and revitalizing neighborhoods.

“We want to empower people to know there are viable options for them to achieve home improvement goals, creating a pool of potential home buyers who are pre-qualified to purchase new and distressed housing stock,” said Davis.

2017 3rd Annual Chicago Housing Expo is sponsored by Studio41, ClimateGuard, Kohler and Shore Partners.
