“The Missing Digit” Comic Strip marks another major milestone as it celebrates 5 years of being online at www.TheMissingDigit.com.

Publishing online since 2012, “The Missing Digit” has been reliably serving up irreverently hilarious online content weekly, with brand new comic strips every Tuesday and Thursday. Though the website is celebrating its 5th anniversary this week, Creator Alan Truong is looking forward to continuing festivities through the following week as The Missing Digit invades 2017 San Diego Comic Con with giveaways and brand new Special Editions of its Comic Strips to commemorate the occasion.

“5 Years and more than 500+ comic strips is a pretty significant milestone that I’m very happy to reach and add to the list of highlights for 2017,” said Alan Truong, Creator and Chief Officer of The Missing Digit.

In addition to reaching its 5th year online, The Missing Digit® achieved other major milestones in 2017 that include:

· Secrets Revealed: Fan-favorite character “Rob” was revealed to be gay in the comic’s landmark 500th strip that surprised fans and shocked regular readers when it was further exposed that there have been clues planted throughout the course of the comic since the very beginning in 2012.

· New Characters: Adding a brand new female character and the 1st ever LGBT addition to the comic, The Missing Digit introduced “Robyn” to its cast of characters and further expanded its universe of idiosyncratic personalities that grace the panels of this hilarious comic strip.

· 500th Comic Strip: Updating twice weekly without fail, The Missing Digit published its breakthrough 500th comic strip to its growing library of occasionally NSFW humor and color updates.

· New Merchandise and Giveaways: In addition to brand new T-shirt designs inspired by fan-favorite comic strips, The Missing Digit will be bringing Custom Special Edition Comic Book bags & boards to San Diego Comic Con to giveaway to fans.
