Demand for Sofia Property is Still Rising, if Investors Know How to Meet It

The key to success on Sofia’s property market is keeping in mind changing customer needs.

Sofia, Bulgaria, February 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Interest in Sofia property investment projects is continuing to rise despite fears that there are already too many players on the market, a recent report suggests. A survey conducted by real estate investment company Karrat Group suggests that while the demand for Sofia homes is growing, it is not as easy to meet the buyers’ expectations it as it used to be several years ago.

According to Karrat Group’s survey, people now have an entirely different approach to home-seeking as compared to the ‘any home would do’ view that they used to have not more than two or three years ago. While during the last several years construction companies aimed to build many homes as quickly as possible, this is no longer the case. Today’s property seekers in Sofia have numerous requirements regarding location, landscape, interior design, the quality of construction materials, nearby amenities, and many other things. People now realize that buying an apartment is a crucial investment and they want a home that can meet their lifestyle.

Some investors on the property market have begun to realize this change in consumer needs and start to offer clients exactly what they are looking for. For instance, Karrat Group has set itself the ambitious aim of meeting clients’ demands and tries to offer customers the property they are actually looking for. The company is currently developing an ambitious project called City of Fountains and located in Mladost 4 Residential Area.

City of Fountains will consist of 18 residential and 2 office buildings, on a total area of 35 000 square meters, and is located 400 m away from Business Park Sofia, often referred to as “Sofia’s new City”.

The complex aims to offer its residents and visitors an excellent landscape, exterior, and interior design, as well as unrivaled amenities, including a fitness and Spa center, a swimming pool, a supermarket and a shopping area, restaurants and cafes, an on-site kindergarten, and many others. There will be numerous fountains running throughout its grounds, whose purpose will be to render a unique atmosphere of harmony and comfort.

The construction of the complex started on March 15, 2007, with the first phase due for completion in January 2009.
