CarolinaCon 2006: Speakers Wanted

Organizers of annual Raleigh technology conference are looking for speakers.

Raleigh, NC, April 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The organizers of CarolinaCon have announced that presentation time slots still remain open despite a mid-June date for this year’s event. Looking to expand on the content offerings of previous conference events, organizers are hoping to fill all available timeslots with as many different kinds of volunteer presentation submissions possible. CarolinaCon organizers are imploring all local and out-of-state technology free speech, privacy, and security enthusiasts and professionals to help build on the diversity and openness of previous conventions by presenting this year.

CarolinaCon is an annual two-day event hosted in North Carolina where all are encouraged to meet, discuss, learn, and teach. Last year’s CaronlinaCon hosted interactive events and varied presentations covering topics such as: Lock Manipulation, Developing Secure Web Applications, Pirate Radio, IPv6 Implementations, and Risk Analysis/Mitigation/Management.

This year’s CarolinaCon is being held on June 9th (7pm-9pm) and June 10th (10am-10pm) at the Hampton Inn on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh. Anyone interested in speaking at CarolinaCon is encouraged to send contact information and a presentation topic outline to Speakers@CarolinaCon.org.
