AutoMax Training Completes Program for New Trainers

Linwood, NJ, July 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- AutoMax Sales Training and Consulting, a leading sales training company for the automotive industry, has recently completed its “Trainer Training” program in Charlotte, North Carolina. The purpose of the intensive, two-week program was to teach new AutoMax trainers valuable skills and techniques to be applied during future training classes in their respective markets.

“I’m very impressed at the new group of AutoMax trainers,” said Craig Lockerd, president of AutoMax Sales Training and Consulting.

“Our goal was to equip a new generation of trainers with the necessary tools to be successful at AutoMax and I think this has been accomplished,” he added.

With its corporate office in New Jersey, AutoMax Sales Training and Consulting attracts, screens and trains top sales professionals for the automobile, RV and motorsports industries. The company’s goal is to have 100 trainers in various cities around the country and the recent class has allowed AutoMax to come closer to reaching this objective.

The training program, led by Lockerd, focused on a broad range of techniques, including word track memorization, class presentations and creation of team synergy. New AutoMax trainers also learned self-help skills, which included the mandatory reading of “A Better Way to Live,” by Og Mandino.

“It [Trainer Training] was more intense than I expected, but a pleasant surprise,” said Rick Thorton, a new trainer at AutoMax and class graduate. “I got a lot out of it and enjoyed working with the group as well.”

Responsible for the training of 70,000 sales representatives since its inception, AutoMax provides automobile dealerships the opportunity to recruit, attract and train top sales talent from their local market. AutoMax trainers spend two weeks at dealerships to ensure maximum success.

With the recent launch of a “No Risk” program, dealerships now have the ability to retain AutoMax Sales Training on a performance-based pay structure with no up-front costs or risk.
