About Naeim A. Henein

Naeim A. Henein is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Wayne State University, College of Engineering. Professor Henein received his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. His research interest is in Heat and Mass Transfer, Engine Combustion and Emission Controls and Tribology. Professor Henein is the recipient of numerous awards including the Engineering Society of Detroit’s College of Fellows Medallion Award, the Society of Automotive Engineers Recognition Award and the ASME-ICE Meritorious Service Award. Professor Henein is a Fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers, a Fellow of the Engineering Society of Detroit and a member of Sigma Xi as well as Tau Beta Pi. In his free time Professor Henein enjoys boating, photography, reading, music and travel.
