Brazil Amazon Trading, Inc. began due to CEO Brunilda “Daisy” Obuhosky’s work in finance and development eventually put her in touch with mining companies and agricultural producers in Brazil, who needed venture capital to develop their land, refine their products and get them out to the international market place. She also came in contact with local governments who wanted help in developing their natural resources and assistance in the environmental clean up of mineral rich areas where mining companies had closed down due to environmental violations.
For the past five years Brazil Amazon Trading has been analyzing and investing in the mining sector of northern and southern Brazil. With the market outlook for commodities especially base metals, they are positioned to take advantage of the long term supply deficit that has been created by China, India and other emerging markets.
Since 1998 the team has been meeting with and forming relationships with the local manufacturers, private and government agencies including DNPM and BAMA. We have formed strategic alliances and joint ventures with both local and international producers based in Brazil. We have also put together an array of developmental projects in mining and mineral exporting for short term and long term investment and opportunity. Since opening our doors officially in 2002 we have been successfully shipping minerals to China.
Brazil Amazon Trading, Inc. has been developing supply chain projects for the export of minerals in Brazil for the past 2 years. They are conducting research and feasibility studies for the expansion of the exporting of minerals such as iron ore and manganese from Brazil. They organized and put together an array of mining development projects linked to an overall supply chain strategy. They have also assisted in the facilitation of identifying mining properties and projects for sale into the international marketplace.
Most recently Brazil Amazon Trading, Inc. opened and energy trading division. Their relationships in minerals and metals in Brazil and China led to the natural progression of expanding their commodity portfolio into petroleum products such as crude oil and liquid petroleum gas. This division is growing quite satisfactorily and may soon equal if not outshine the minerals and mining division.
Because of their comprehensive experience in commodities markets they have also opened a consulting and marketing services division of their company to service customer requests for assistance in marketing new commodities into emerging markets. This is a fairly new offering and Brazil Amazon Trading, Inc. looks forward to developing this new market of services with its existing and future customers.
Brazil Amazon Trading, Inc. and its group companies remains in an excellent position to take advantage of demand driven mineral and energy markets both now and into the future. It continues research and develop new suppliers and manufacturers by alliance, joint venture and strategic partnering in South America, Asia and Africa. Brazil Amazon Trading, Inc. is also diversifying into Project Development, Consulting and International Marketing Services to be able to better meet its client needs.
