Company History

Mr. Horowitz worked as an engineer in Systems Engineering for Bell Laboratories after obtaining a Masters Degree in Science from Columbia University School of Engineering in the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research Department in 1981. Mr. Horowitz also received a B.A. degree from Columbia University in 1978, with a background in chemistry and the sciences and attended Georgetown University Law Center to receive a J.D. degree in 1984. During law school, Mr. Horowitz contributed a law review article to the prestigious Georgetown University Law Journal.

Mr. Horowitz is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and U.S. Circuit Court for the Second Circuit. From 1984 to 1991 Steven Horowitz, Esq. worked for law firms in Manhattan in the fields of intellectual property law and litigation and then opened his own practice in Intellectual Property Law in October 1991.
