On October 1, 2009, a new parenting coordination statute (F.S. 61.125) will take effect in Florida which provides for referral of divorcing couples to a parenting coordinator and includes standards for qualifying as a parenting coordinator. The National Cooperative Parenting Center has scheduled trainings that meet the requirements outlined in this new legislation. - September 02, 2009
