iWatt, Inc. Releases High Efficiency Digital PWM Controller for Network AC/DC Adapters
iWatt released a new AC/DC digital PWM controller for external power supply adapters. The highly efficient device, iW1710, is rated for up to 40W of power and exceeds Energy Star requirements. The simplified design can reduce component count by up to 30 percent. The iW1720 is designed to address low noise, tight output voltage regulation and high surge protection requirements for network applications. New customer Jentec will feature the iW1710 in its newest line of network adapter products. - September 28, 2009
