Sensei Corey Green of Green's Karate Revolutionizes How Martial Arts is Taught to Special Needs Students

Sensei Corey Green taught the first person and first girl in history in 2006 and 2010 respectively, with autism to qualify and compete in the non-handicap division in the U.S. Karate Nationals. Since 2010, Green has been working with and will continue to work with Lee University conducting research and collecting data on Green's success working with students with severe to moderate autism. His work and study is the first and currently the only one of its kind with I.R.B. approval in the U.S. - July 26, 2011
