The S3 Smart Sulphur Switch that can be used to control and document a vessels sulphur emissions. The S3 Smart Sulphur Switch is only 5% of the price of a scrubber and the key market is for vessels that occasionally need to enter an ECA. The New Smart Sulphur Switch S3 System is Less Than 5% of the Price for a Scrubber Solution
The Danish company Insatech A/S has developed the Smart Sulphur Switch S3 system (S3) that minimizes shipping companies’ additional costs as a result of the requirements stipulated in MARPOL Annex VI concerning sulphur emissions in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) in North America, the Caribbean, the Baltic, and the North Sea.
