New Book Provides Unprecedented Look at Adolescent Mental Health Care

Twenty percent of the nation’s children under the age of 18 are affected with emotional and behavioral disorders and between 6 and 9 million of them suffer from what are known as serious emotional disabilities (SED). Each year, hundreds of thousands of these young people are admitted to out-of-home placements.
