MTA Staten Island Railway Enhances Patron Communication and Safety with Emcom VoIP Solution

Emcom Systems today announced that the MTA Staten Island Railway in New York, NY, has selected their Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) based EmVista Central system, along with IP6000 hands-free phones to provide reliable patron assistance communications throughout the rail system. IP6000 phones will be installed at each of 22 stops and will communicate with the EmVista Central system at St. George via an IP network. - December 09, 2008
