"Images of the Courageous" - Artists' Support for Our Troops Rapidly Spreads Across America
Artist's paintings, created for a Chaplain to provide a source of comfort for his fellow soldiers in the middle east, have taken on a life of their own. The images, now printed on dog tags, pocket cards, and prints, with a verse are usually referred to as "Prayer Reminder Tags" - to remind others to "pray for the soldiers we so dearly love". Family members and friends of soldiers are grabbing them up to wear them about their necks, hang on purses, key chains, rear view mirrors, and backpacks - February 21, 2009
