Leading International Private Teaching Agency, Tutors International, Announces Launch of Pioneering Home Schooling Course Designed to Cover the Span of Human Knowledge

A new home schooling course designed to cover ten disciplines that embody human learning has been launched by Tutors International. Its founder, Adam Caller, explains why he is so excited by this new home education offering.

Oxford, United Kingdom, August 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Tutors International announces the launch of a radical new home schooling course designed to cover the span of human knowledge. The 'Special Projects' home education offering is designed to be delivered in specialized modules by experts in their particular field. Parents of home schooled children can decide which 'special project' module they would like their child to be taught by a live-in tutor as a compliment to their current home schooling program. "We are incredibly excited by the launch of this home schooling course," enthused Adam Caller, founder of the international private tutors agency. "It has taken a huge amount of development and organization, not the least of which was sourcing experts in differing fields who also have the ability to teach and pass their enthusiasm on to a student. We are deliberately screening out the passionate bores!"

Adam continued; "We designed this course as an offering to parents that aren't necessarily looking for a full-time live-in tutor, but need something to enrich their child's home education. Parents can pick and choose which topics they want to have delivered and we identify an expert in the field for the parent's approval. Depending on the length of the modules, up to twelve in-depth special projects could be delivered per year, enriching the child's home education and allowing them to really get stuck into a particular topic with an expert."

When asked to give an example of a 'special project', Adam replied "They really do vary, and the special projects can cover more than one discipline at a time. Making a wildlife pond for example could explore principles in biology, mathematics, ecology, design and so on. On the other hand, shorter courses focusing on one area can be delivered, for example a series of two-week courses has recently been commissioned for a thirteen year old boy in Canada. It's designed to explore the concept of rebels in literature, and determine whether there really is such a thing as a 'rebel' in the first place. I can confidently say," Adam concluded, "that these kinds of courses are not available elsewhere, especially not tailored to the needs of an individual child and family."
