StraighterLine Introduces New Course Advisor

Washington, DC, August 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- StraighterLine (www.straighterline.com), an online education solution that provides students a high quality, better supported, and lower cost way to obtain college credits through regionally accredited colleges and universities, has announced that Jenifer DeHart, M.Ed. has joined the company as a course advisor. DeHart will be responsible for managing StraighterLine student accounts and assisting students with online coursework opportunities, among other duties.

DeHart received her M.Ed. in 2008 from the University of South Carolina (USC) where she focused on Higher Education and Student Affairs. At USC she worked in the Office of Student Judicial Programs and facilitated the Carolina Awareness on Alcohol Policies and Safety course. She has also previously worked as a 7th grade mathematics and science teacher, a graduate instructor for education majors and as an intern for the Georgetown University Law Center. DeHart remains involved with professional organizations including the Association of Student Judicial Affairs and the American College Personnel Association. She continues her work in the classroom as an adjunct faculty member at Montgomery College teaching first-year experience courses.
