Global MainFrame Announces New Reseller Agreement with Threshold

Since moving into new offices in Toronto, Global MainFrame has begun to solidify reseller agreements with partners eager to promote Software As A Service to their clients in transportation management, especially heavy equipment and large fleets.

Toronto, TX, August 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mark Paterson, VP Client Services for leading SaaS solutions provider Global MainFrame, today announced a strategic alliance with Threshold enabling the Toronto-based company to resell the Global MainFrame platform to their asset tracking and recovery clients. “Threshold is a very active client and reseller for Global MainFrame and recently has been moving their Boomerang tracking devices onto our new platform,” Paterson explains.

Under the terms of the agreement Threshold will now additionally offer its existing customers Transportation Logistics Manager, an innovative web-based product suite of integrated modules. “Our future with Threshold is very strong with unlimited potential,” Paterson continues. “We anticipate and are prepared for substantial growth over the short term with them. We’re excited to be working very closely with Threshold and have greatly enjoyed their excitement and commitment over the last few months.”

Deploying GPS technology, Threshold currently offers a variety of electronic and security products to clients, providing real-time information regarding their vehicles and equipment. "In order to maximize and expand our presence in the fleet management vertical, we are moving aggressively to deliver cutting-edge technology to our partners, including pairing with a recognized leader in asset tracking and recovery applications – Global MainFrame," adds Chris Coker, President. "Threshold's tracking products let our clients know exactly where their machines are at any given time. In fact, not only where, but how fast, in what direction, as well as other critical data we distribute."

Considered a high reward, low risk form of crime for several decades, heavy equipment theft costs companies over a billion dollars a year, and has been steadily increasing in Canada. Respecting recent demands from insurance professionals, many industry organizations, associations and civic leaders these days advocate mandatory tracking devices in rented equipment. “Chris has a ground-breaking view of what an innovative company like Global MainFrame could bring to the future of the heavy equipment vertical,” Paterson concludes, “and we will certainly work together to reverse that trend.”
