Sikhcess™ Launches 'Packages of Love' Campaign in Australia

Sikhcess volunteers in Australia are joining together for a common mission to help others – uniting to collect materials to assemble basic needs hygiene packages to distribute to the homeless across the continent of Australia.

Melbourne, Australia, August 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sikhcess™, a worldwide community service based organization, announced its plan to provide basic hygiene items to homeless and needy through its 'Packages of Love' campaign, set to take place on the 15th of November 2008 in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth, Australia.

Sikhcess volunteers in Australia are joining together for a common mission to help others – uniting to collect materials to assemble basic needs hygiene packages to distribute to the homeless across the continent of Australia. Each individual package contains a towel, a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, a bar of soap, and a bottle of water.

"The work environment is all about putting 'love' into the packages we assemble", says Ms. Nisha Kaur, the Sikhcess™ Sydney City Executive. She goes on to say that "the atmosphere during these events is electric - we all realize what a good thing it is we are doing, and everyone has a great time while working!"

This accomplishment is part of a global movement of individuals across the world coming together for a common purpose: creating positive change by bridging cultural, socioeconomic, and religious divides through community service.

Sikhcess™ operates under the Sikh principle of 'Seva', which translates as the desire to improve lives of others through acts of selfless service. To date, Sikhcess'™ premier program, the 'Feed the Homeless' campaign, has delivered over 138,000 healthy and nutritious meals to impoverished people across the globe, with 15,000 being distributed in exclusively to low-income communities in Australia.

"The people who join together in these campaigns are brilliant, and work tirelessly with one common goal in mind: sharing their love with others", stated Ms. Amarpreet Kaur, National Coordinator for Sikhcess™ Australia, "It doesn't matter what your background is, how much money you make, what religion you are – we need volunteers to participate. Our collective purpose is to come together to help others in need", she concluded.

Sikhcess™ works to make a difference by placing volunteers in leadership roles to help alleviate poverty. Sikhcess'™ mission is international; however, the organization's ability to tailor programs to the specific needs of a local community is where it excels. It immediately addresses concerns that threaten to deny individuals of their basic human needs. Furthermore, having access to support networks on a regional, national, and international level helps each community-based program to maximize its ability to address and deliver services most needed to the local community.

The Sikhcess™ participants in Australia will work over the course of two days in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth during the Sikhcess™ 'Packages of Love' campaign, unified in their efforts to meet their ambitious deadlines on time.

"The cities we work in feel a little better with Sikhcess™ volunteers in their community", Mr. Mandeep Singh, says with an optimistic smile. "I can't wait for this upcoming event and plan to be part of the organization's campaigns for a long time to come."
