Business Woman Receives Service Award

The University of Baltimore extends recognition to outstanding volunteers.

Baltimore, MD, May 04, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Local Business Woman Receives H. Mebane Turner Service Award

On April 20th, 2006, joining many other proud recipients, Jessi LaCosta President of BlueRio Coaching, received the esteemed University of Baltimore Alumni Association’s H. Mebane Turner Service Award.

The Alumni Association established this award in 1989 in honor of former President Turner to recognize volunteers who are “shining stars and who contribute greatly to the welfare and success of the University.”

The Accolades Volunteer Appreciation Reception was held in the stunning, cutting edge, newly designed Student Center Multipurpose Room and Auditorium on April 20th at the University of Baltimore. Guests mingled dining on lovely appetizers and gazing down at the city skyline from the crystal clear clerestory windows.

LaCosta, a Baltimore native, earned her MA in Publication Design at University of Baltimore graduating in 1997. She works with others to develop unique communication styles as tools for succeeding in life ---personally and professionally. She is a guest speaker on many topics including brand communications, public relations, personal branding and surviving violent assaults.
