Lyrical Passion Poetry E-Zine Announces Their "Haiku in Bloom" Grand Prize Winner

Mission: Their goal is to educate yoSION: To educate young writers as well as adults while entertaining poetry lovers and writers worldwide. Lyrical Passion Poetry E-zine is designed to give unpublished and expert writers the opportunity to showcase their own distinct style.

Guidelines: Limit three senryu poems per entry. There is no limit to the amount of entries. If entering multiple entries, please send three poems per email. Experienced haiku writers need not follow the syllable count, of course. Seeking high quality, humorous senryu poetry, internationally. If entering online, type "New Senryu" in the subject line to avoid deletion.

Lyrical Passion Poetry E-Zine has chosen its April 2008 contest winner, Mr. Timothy Russell from Toronto Ohio for his haiku “winter evening::” that won the first place prize of $80.00 along with an attractive certificate.

"Timothy Russell is a very talented writer that we most certainly would like to recognize," Ms. Bailey explains.
