Sacramento, CA, August 28, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Scare fanatics in Sacramento and surrounding cities will be excited to learn that Fright Planet “World of Fear” Haunted House is charging into the 2008 haunt season opening on October 3rd. “Terrifying new scares are being installed at our new location in Citrus Heights in Marketplace at Birdcage,” says Creative Director of Fright Planet Carlos Schollar. Schollar notes that in 2008, Fright Planet will be taking horror to a new level, and bringing back the popular R.M.S. Curseliner Haunted House, which is a haunted attraction set “afloat” on a haunted cruise ship that was lost at sea. “Everyone involved is excited about the new location, and of the soon approaching opening day.”
Fright Planet “World of Fear” is open on select nights beginning October 3rd thru November 2nd. The frights begin at 7pm. A complete schedule is available on the website.
Unlike the standard haunted house that everyone has been to, Fright Planet immerses its guests into a completely new world. “We are detail freaks! We want to make you feel as if you just boarded a 1913’s cruise ship; of course, we then let our ghosts do the rest,” says Schollar. Fright Planet uses the latest scare tactics and animatronics, but Schollar says the best scare always come from the actors. Fright Planet uses over 60 actors who all have either a theater background or a passion to scare.
Last year Fright Planet was the biggest haunted house in Sacramento, featuring four attractions for one price. This year, a soon-to-be-announced, second location will once again name Fright Planet as Sacramento’s biggest haunted house, but now with two locations.
Special events, including a live band and a haunted dance is scheduled for Halloween night which are included with a general admission.
