New Port St. Lucie Retirement Community Hires Executive Director; Director of Sales & Marketing

Port St. Lucie, FL, August 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Abingdon at Tradition, a master-planned, full-service retirement community developed by Senior Living Communities, announces the recent hiring of Jonathan Collins as the Executive Director and Sonja Warren as the Director of Sales & Marketing.

As Executive Director, Collins will supervise all aspects of the retirement community including all financial aspects, human resource projects, healthcare programs and marketing agendas within the campus and operate the community in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Collins brings fifteen years of management experience to Senior Living Communities. Collins spent nine years with Brookdale Senior Living as an Executive Director, where he stabilized high management turnover, increased resident satisfaction and implemented a new therapy program. Collins also served as Executive Director of The Gables at Farmington in Connecticut and held General Manager positions at The Danbury Hilton & Towers in Danbury Connecticut and Charlestown Management in Charleston, South Carolina.

Sonja Warren, in her new role of Director of Sales and Marketing, will plan, organize and direct the sales and leasing activities for the campus. She will also cultivate prospects and referral sources, coordinate the move-in of new residents and plan marketing events for prospective residents.

Prior to joining the Senior Living Communities family, Warren spent 12 years with Toll Brothers, Inc. where she continued to rise through the ranks. Most recently, Warren was the Sr. Sales Manager for The Estates at Tradition, Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club and Palm Cove Golf & Yacht Club.

Abingdon at Tradition, which opens mid-2009, will provide a highly trained, routhe-clock staff to ensure unparalleled peace of mind.
