Lana Perhacs Honored by Wedding & Event Videographers Association

Cleveland, OH, September 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA), the largest non-profit trade association for professional videographers, is pleased to recognize Lana Perhacs of Mystic Image Video in Parma Ohio as the first, female Merited Professional Videographer (MPV) in the world.

Lana joins the elite previously all "Boys Club" under the tutelage of her husband Paul Perhacs, a 20 year veteran of the wedding industry who achieved his MPV accreditation in December 2005.

Both Lana & Paul were subjected to a series of written exams, and were required to submit multiple examples of their award-winning wedding video work for critical evaluation by a judging panel of their peers. Both have now achieved a "Master Skill Level" in the WEVA International accreditation program, a feat accomplished by only 15 individuals worldwide since the MPV program's inception in 2004.

WEVA International is dedicated to advancing the professional interests of videographers worldwide through continuing education, technical support, group benefits, advocacy committees and professional development training.
