Pittsburgh, PA, September 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Model Magazine is prepared to launch in Fall 2008, with its majority content being geared towards the interests of aspiring models desiring to obtain a better understanding and knowledge of the industry.

Model Magazine will cover topics such as fashion trends, successful auditioning, beauty advice, up and coming models, how to tell if an agency is legitimate, modeling scams, and a special section on what topics are interests to the publication’s readers.

The goal of the magazine is to educate models to make the most of their careers.

A preview of "False and Misleading Advertising" that will appear in the premier issue is as follows:

"Did you know that modeling agencies are regulated by laws at both the state and federal level? In fact, the FTC regulates modeling scams which include false and misleading advertising. An example of such a scam would be placing advertising in a visible location to mislead the public into believing the agency has been or will be involved in something that they are not involved in.

Although the agency has not made these actual statements, the FTC has stated that such advertising misleads consumers and affect consumers' behavior or decisions about the their dealings and involvement with the agency.

Many states have conferred that it is a violation of both state and federal law to disseminate an advertisement which is untrue or misleading. Another example are agencies who will use the appearance of a celebrity model in an effort to deceive the public in believing the model's career was launched from that agency, again affecting the decision of whether or not to join and invest in that agency."

In addition to the Model Magazine’s official MySpace, a website, Model Magazine.net, is also in the works.
