Tri-O-Light BV Comes with New Expertise: Multicol Casting Adhesives & Trading

Barneveld, Netherlands, September 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Multicol casting adhesives & trading is a new expertise within Tri-O-Light that proceeded from a cooperation between Tri-O-Light and Ron Drost. After 25 years in the adhesives branch Ron Drost now operates under the name Multicol casting adhesives & trading as a trademark of Tri-O-Light. One of Multicol’s core-businesses is sealing LED lighting products with a casting resin to protect them against impeding external influences, such as water, chemicals, dust, dirt and vandalism.

The slightly curved diffuse light line integrated in the street in front of the entrance of the Gelredome stadium is one of the examples of a Tri-O-Light product (LED Light Strip RGB) sealed in a flexible, diffuse Multicol polyurethane casting resin. Multicol’s casting resins can vary from very hard and rigid, to soft, flexible and gum-like The resins can be mechanically strong and crack resistant, but there are also types that can crumble after hardening.

Besides Multicol’s experience with casting resins, Multicol also manufactures and supplies a large selection of highly developed types of adhesives for the industry and trade. Multicol’s lab is equipped with the latest technology to do adhesive tests and re-create all sorts of climate, ageing and temperature change tests and to be able to offer professional advice and solutions.
