Students Rock City Hall Plaza on September 14 at Lucid Arts & Entertainment Festival

Boston, MA, September 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Lucid Film Productions and co-partner The Boston Music Festival have announced the first annual Lucid Arts & Entertainment Festival, which will take place Sunday September 14, from 2 PM to 10 PM, on Boston’s City Hall Plaza at Government Center.

Promoting the young artists and performers of Boston, and supporting local children’s charities, the Lucid Arts & Entertainment Festival will showcase musical performances by competing bands, and the talents of student artists and local crafts vendors.

The highlight of the festival is a late night film screening of the winning films from the 2008 Lucid Film Festival, which will run from 8 to 10 PM. The event also offers all festival attendees the chance to participate in their own professional photo shoot session.

The Lucid Arts & Entertainment festival was conceptualized by Lucid Film Productions- a company founded and run by undergraduate students at Boston’s communications schools. The event is co-sponsored by Anna’s Taqueria, DefHog.com, Global Party People, OurStage, Performer Magazine and The Boston Herald.

City Hall Plaza is easily accessed via public transportation: Green Line to Government Center T stop. Admission to the festival is free.
