Developing an Identity That Impresses. LIOBmedia Develops New Brand Identity (Logo) for NAGTRI, a Subsidiary of the National Association of Attorneys General.

Washington, DC, September 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) recently created the National Attorneys Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI). NAAG chose LIOBmedia to partner with, in creating a brand identity for NAGTRI.

“We wanted a logo that would be representative of NAGTRI’s mission” said Angelita Plemmer, Communications Director at NAAG. The mission of NAGTRI is to provide high quality, responsive, and innovative training to US Assistant Attorneys General and to provide intellectual adept research on issues of concern and interest to NAAG members.

The goal for LIOBmedia was to create an identity for NAGTRI that would be symbolic of knowledge and education yet still show connection to the NAAG brand. Utilizing meaningful symbols, LIOBmedia created NAGTRI’s first logo. By incorporating into the NAGTRI logo, the same blue color used in the NAAG logo, a brand connection between both entities is established. The logo includes an icon; a tree with its roots and an open book. “The tree is an important symbol in nearly every culture,” says Lillie Fujinaga, Creative Director at LIOBmedia. “With its branches reaching into the sky and its roots deep in the earth, it symbolizes growth, strength and history. The open book represents Law or The Book of Judgment. It is the most ancient symbol associated with law and it symbolizes learning, written knowledge and judgments.”
