Lori Eichel of Accent Construction Named Impact Leader

Chapel Hill, NC, September 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Accent Construction, a Triangle-based full service commercial general contractor, has announced that President Lori Eichel has been named an Impact Development Leader in the category of constructors and homebuilders by Business Leader magazine. Business Leader showcases businesses and individuals who are making an impact in their industry.

Accent Construction was singled out for their commitment to advancing knowledge of green practices within the building and construction industry. Eichel recently earned the designation of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of green building practices and the LEED Rating System. She regularly speaks to groups in the region such as the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA) about green building standards and practices, including recycling and reuse of construction materials. Fellow Impact Leaders in the constructors and homebuilders’ category are Craig Davis, Chairman of Craig Davis Properties, a commercial real estate developer and Ed Fritsch, CEO of Highwoods Properties, the largest owner and operator of suburban office properties in the Southeast.

“I am honored to be featured in Business Leader,” said Eichel. “As leaders in green building, we are pleased to share with the commercial building community our knowledge of LEED certification and the recycling/reuse practices we have instituted in tenant finish projects.”
