Horizon Monster Productions Announces Special Pricing on Video Editing

For a limited time, Horizon Monster Productions is offering the reduced price of $100/per finished project minute on highlight reels constructed from existing footage. This price includes editing, creating text screens and the inclusion tracks from their royalty free music library.

St. Louis, MO, September 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Recognizing the growing importance of video for Internet based marketing, Horizon Monster Productions is proud to announce special pricing on their video editing services. For a limited time, the Horizon Monster staff will edit your existing footage into a promotional video for broadcast or web use for only $100 per minute of finished product (rounded to the nearest quarter minute) with a one minute project minimum.

“We call these types of products highlight reels,” said Horizon Monster owner Michael Lauck. “They are extremely popular with bands, performers and athletes looking for scholarships or training camp invitations but any business with existing footage could create an effective promotional video.” This special pricing includes editing the footage, adding transitions and on screen graphics as well as music from Horizon Monster’s library of royalty free music. The final project can be designed to adhere to broadcast standards, presented as a DVD or optimized for the web.

“This is the perfect way for a magician, model or other type of performer to collect and present some of their best material in an interesting and attractive manner. It is somewhere between a music video and sports style highlights,” stated Lauck. “However, this is the perfect way for many businesses to add a video presentation to a website that highlights their products, achievements or facilities.”

Horizon Monster Productions is able to take a client’s existing video footage in a number of formats, including VHS, miniDV and digital8 tapes as well as unprotected DVDs and data discs. The quality of the original video will determine the quality of the final project, but Lauck indicated that minor corrections, such as color adjustments or letterbox style borders to cover tracking problems, would be included in the $100/finished minute price. A company logo can also be added, provided it is in the proper format.

“We have been doing these types of projects for athletes and performers, particularly our friends in the magic industry, for a while now,” Lauck continued. “It is a great way for any performer or business to recycle existing video, even if it was not professionally shot.” This special pricing is only available for a limited time; at the conclusion of the offer the editing rate will return to $150 per finished minute for this type of video.

About Horizon Monster Productions:

Founded in late 2003 by Michael and Polly Lauck, Horizon Monster Production’s mission was to provide affordable professional onsite videography and video production to small business. Polly, who holds a degree in production, was inspired to start the company after seeing a poorly produced magic instructional DVD Michael had purchased. After establishing themselves by producing everything from low budget music videos to DVDs of special events, Polly decided to return to school to become an elementary school teacher. Michael, an experienced freelance writer and performing magician, took full control of the operations of the company and has since concentrated on producing instructional video projects, demo reels and highlight films.
