An Elegant Fall Menu from My Private Chef at Bloomingdale's Home & Furniture Store

This cooking demonstration will take place on Saturday, November 1, from 1-3 p.m. at the Bloomingdale’s Home & Furniture Store in Oakbrook Center. Oak Brook, IL, September 23, 2008 --( Chef Christopher Tong will present an elegant Fall menu perfect for entertaining. You’ll get to see up close how a truly elegant meal is created. There will be time for questions and answers about shopping, ingredients, and preparation. And, of course, everyone gets a taste.

Chef Tong will prepare:

Roasted Red and Golden Beet salad with warmed herbed goat cheese,
caramelized red onions, toasted almonds and Tarragon vinaigrette

Sautéed Pork Medallions served with Apple-Cranberry Sauce and buttered Gnocchi
