The work of artist Jay Lonewolf will open the Mario Flores Gallery, September 26, 2008. A brilliant artist - Jay Lonewolf's one-man show will showcase wide-ranging, vivid and imaginative display of dramatic colors and words.

The Mario Flores Gallery in North Miami, FL will debut a solo exhibition of works by Jay Lonewolf, an astonishing painter who suffers from monochromacy, complete color blindness — the rarest and most uncommon form. He suffers from rod monochromacy, which also affects sensitivity to light. The gifted artist can only see in black and white and shades of grey, yet all of his paintings are done with vivid colors. His works are colorful, vibrant, bursting with textures. They speak to your eyes and your hands to see and touch his work.
Jay Lonewolf has been featured in the Miami Herald, WTVJ-NBC 6 Miami, Miami Artzine, lifeinthefastlane.com (http://www.lifeinthefastlane.ca/jay-lonewolf-morales-colorblind-painter-extraordinaire/art&reffurl) and in numerous videos.
Gallery director Mario Flores is a photographer based in South Florida. He has been involved in multiple projects such as SUYU Gallery, Rootz Gallery and other exhibitions. His passion and experience has led him to establish his own art gallery and studio in the art district of North Miami.
The premiere opening on Friday, September 26 kicks off at 6:00pm – 11:00pm and coincides with the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) monthly jazz night offering some of the city's finest art and music with free live jazz.
