R&PM:Edelman Expands Leadership Team, Announces New Focus Areas for India

Bangalore, India, September 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- R&PM:Edelman has announced a new leadership team to leverage its strengths and enhance its position in India, with a focus on building additional capabilities to meet the Technology, Public Affairs, Digital and Social Engagement needs of its clients.

Mr Amit Misra, a professional of 15 years standing who joins the company from October 1, 2008, will head operations in Delhi while Ms Ophira Samuel-Bhatia, who has been with the company for 13 years, will now head the operations in Mumbai.

Roma Pereira-Talwar, a professional of 19 years experience, will be Director - National Lifestyle and Healthcare Practices, Sachin Talwar, who has spent 17 years with the company, has been appointed Director - National Corporate Practice, while Allwyn Fernandes, who was a journalist for 25 years and has been in corporate communications for the last 14 years, has been appointed Director - Social Engagement in addition to his role as Director of the Media Practice. All will report to Roger C B Pereira, CEO and Managing Director.
