NAV2 Introduces its First China User Group Meeting on May 25, 2006
NAV2, a joint venture between NAVTEQ and NavInfo, will host its first China User Group on May 25, 2006 in Shanghai.
Shanghai, China, May 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- NAV2, a joint venture between NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map data for navigation systems and location-based solutions and NavInfo, the first government sanctioned commercial provider of digital map data for navigation in China, will host its first China User Group on May 25, 2006 in Shanghai.
This meeting will be an informative day of discussions on the state of the navigation market in China and around the world, and will help to cross-educate leading players and users on navigation products’ and services’ enhancements.
About 150 major players and business partners will attend NAV2 User Group. These decision makers, senior managers and key members of important projects, from the most leading players in the Automotive, Telecommunications, LBS and Internet industries of China will gather to discuss the future direction in products and services in China, the future of the navigation market and share experiences with other users.
The event, held at the Regent Shanghai, will be divided into two topics, focusing on NAV2’ business, such as NAV2’s products and business’ updates, China’s government regulations and the creation of a high quality China map database; and on the navigation market, through an analysis of the Chinese market, a global navigation market overview, but also an insight of the maps of the future.
The rest of the day will be spent on product demonstrations organized by NAV2’ partners, and discussions on future product directions.
