Returning Student with Poor Grades Now Accepted Into Honors Program

Student who struggled at Pierce College, did a full turn-around and became distinguished through stellar academic performance.

Los Angeles, CA, October 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Aleem A. Desai, a strategy consultant and advisor to some of telecom's sr. level executives, has recently decided to return to school at Pierce College in Los Angeles. Busy enough as he is with his clients, he manages to juggle both and demonstrate a distinctive academic performance. Mr. Desai, liberal arts major, has recently been placed into the Deans List and now awarded acceptance into the Honors Program.

The Pierce Honors Program is most recognized for strong transfer alliance with University of California-Los Angeles. If completed to satisfaction, Mr. Desai strengthens his chances of finishing his undergraduate degree at UCLA; an opportunity that his friends & family believe may lead to an International Law Degree. 'More important than anything else, I am just trying to have fun with it all.' said Mr. Desai when asked about embracing the new challenges of work and school.

However it doesn’t just stop there, Aleem also writes for Direction, a school publication and actively participates in various department/student efforts to improve the academia of the institution.
