Paramount Transportation Services Gets New Transportation Manager

New York, NY, October 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On Oct 10th John McMasters, President of Paramount Transportation Services, along with Ian Gardner, VP of Operations, had a press conference announcing Robert J. Floyd's promotion to Transportation Manager of Paramount Transportations United States Operations.

On Sept. 13th Company Transportation Manager Ian Gardner was promoted to Vice President of Operations. Gardners promotion left an empty seat in Paramounts over 5700 employee roster. Gardner and members of the HR team started a search for the perfect person for the Transportation Manager Position. After researching over 210 applications, choosing 32 for interviews, Gardner and his team made a decision. Robert J. Floyd will begin Oct 14 as the New Transportation Manager for Paramounts United States Operations . Floyd, who started over 35 years ago as a Truck Driver and has held many positions since then from management to consultant for some of the largest trucking companies in the US. Floyd, who stated that this opportunity is what he has been working for through his whole career. Besides Paramount being known for their excellent record for transporting the Entertainment Industry, from Film, TV, Broadway shows, and Trade shows, but they are best known for transporting High end vehicles, From the Bat Mobile to the family sedan.
