Former Gold Star CEO to Lead Expansion of Cincinnati Mexican Restaurant Chain

Margaritas Mexican Restaurants Plans Aggressive Expansion to All Greater Cincinnati Markets.

Cincinnati, OH, October 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Former Gold Star Chili CEO John Sullivan has traded in his cheese coney for a burrito, having been tapped to assist Cincinnati based Mexican Restaurant chain Margaritas with its expansion efforts. The Margaritas team has the advantage of Sullivan’s leadership abilities from more than 40 years experience in restaurant operations, marketing and franchise development. As a consultant, Sullivan will lead efforts to grow the chain and will actively seek licensees to expand the brand into the western and northern suburbs.

Under Sullivan’s 18 years as Gold Star Chili CEO, the company was positioned as a regional restaurant and grocery icon. The restaurant was selected as “Small Business of the Year” and received the “Ohio Award of Excellence,” among numerous additional accolades and achievements. Sullivan also worked with Burger Chef and Hardee’s Food Systems. “I have been very impressed with the quality of the food and Margaritas ability to build a strong customer base. I believe this concept has great potential, and I am proud to be part of the expansion plans,” Sullivan said.
