BlueStar Europe Holds Vendor Open House

Numerous European distribution agreements signed.

Florence, KY, October 18, 2008 --( BlueStar Europe, the leading European innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto ID, Mobility, and RFID products, held an open house for vendors in these market-based verticals on September 26, 2008. The purpose of the meeting was to present BlueStar to Europe, and introduce the company’s FUSION business-development program to the region.

“Our supplier open house was the first of many events planned as BlueStar expands in Europe,” says BlueStar Director of Global Marketing & Sales, Bill Nix.

BlueStar’s President/CEO Steve Cuntz, VP of Marketing, Mark Fraker, and BlueStar Europe Managing Director, Alexander Stahl, offered formal presentations at BlueStar Europe’s headquarters near Frankfurt, Germany, on the company’s global presence and expansion.

“Our BlueStar Europe Open House event for vendors was a great success. Keeping our valued vendor partners up-to-date with BlueStar Europe activity and strategy was essential for us. During the event, we came to multiple agreements to distribute additional product lines in AIDC and POS,” says Alexander Stahl, BlueStar Europe Managing Director.

After the presentations and lunch, the entire BlueStar executive team, which included Steve Cuntz, President and CEO, Bill Nix, Director of Global Marketing & Sales, Doug Bivins, CFO, Jeff Wayner, VP of Sales Development, Mike Byington, VP of Business Development, Jacques Lapierre, President of BlueStar Canada, Mark Fraker, VP of Marketing, and Rob Dorsey, Director of Sales, met one-on-one with vendor representatives to discuss BlueStar’s global presence and expansion as well as value-added distribution and what that entails for BlueStar.

“We are extremely excited to announce the FUSION marketing program to the European marketplace. We believe in the value-add this program delivers for the manufacturers, ISVs, and the Value-Added Resellers. Our solution-based distribution model will open new business opportunities for our customers, whether that is in AIDC or POS,” continues Stahl.
