Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, October 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- SkyRFID Inc. recently announced the availability of their new economic RFID electronic access control solutions. The new solutions include long range 125 kHz readers for hands free access using a wheelchair or other small powered vehicles for disabled persons. No more having to manoeuvre to the “Push” button and then back to the door as its opening. These new easy to implement solutions use a combination of cards, keyfobs plus dual frequencies of 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz for enhanced security without high cost. There is also a variety of software to make the implementation seamless and exactly what each company requires. SkyRFID offers “Ready to Use” software that clients just install on a PC and configure for the companies individual access needs and “Do it Yourself” software with basic tables ready to go, plus source code and additional documentation so clients can tailor the access system to their needs.

These RFID Access systems use RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP for wide area multi building installations. The readers include vandal proof readers, reader with and without keypads and special long distance readers for “Hands Free” access. SkyRFID is also supplying a wide range of electromagnetic locks, strikes, gate strikes, and emergency exit buttons including glass breaks for fire or other emergencies that activate alarm systems to warn everybody.

Now companies don’t need to change lock tumblers when a key person leaves and forgets to hand over their keys. Companies don’t even have to hand out any keys. This really enhances building security since companies can use security non-duplicating keys and locks for master control with restricted access to them use inexpensive cards or keyfobs that can be enabled and disabled whenever your need to. Since the access can be “Hands Free” this also cuts down on the door open time saving on heat and air-conditioning when using hands free access. Using these cards or keyfobs companies can enable or disable buildings, rooms, departments, wiring closets, computer rooms, restricted access areas and more, quickly, easily and inexpensively. SkyRFID even has several inexpensive computer access control readers that won’t allow anyone to use the computer without an access card.
