Moneta Corporation, a growing alternative payment choice for online transactions, has named a team of executives to lead the company’s expansion in consumer enrollments and merchant partnerships. Moneta’s executive leadership team brings deep experience in consumer payments, marketing, IT, security and start-up management to propel the company’s growth and expansion. Moneta offers merchants and consumers a convenient, safe and affordable method for Internet ACH debit transactions directly from a consumer’s bank deposit account.

With the new strategic focus, Moneta is addressing the role of banks in the online payments arena, which are often bypassed during the online transaction process. Moneta will partner with banks to offer alternative payment capabilities to their online banking customers as a value-added service. Banks will benefit from an increased marketing presence during the Moneta online transaction process and will gain market exposure from online merchant checkout sites.

Moneta’s chief executive officer, Guido Sacchi, recently joined the company after six years as chief information officer and senior vice president - corporate strategies, of CompuCredit, a technology company and marketer of a comprehensive suite of financial services including branded credit cards. Prior to CompuCredit, Mr. Sacchi developed expertise in international business, technology and information management strategy as a consultant with Deloitte Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

During his 19-year career Mr. Sacchi has received numerous honors including being named to Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders list in 2008. He has significant international experience having earned a masters degree and PhD from the University of Rome (Italy) and appointments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Other management team members include Carol Kennemore Kleywegt, Moneta’s director of marketing, who brings an 18-year career in payments, financial services and technology industries. Her experience includes marketing management positions with RBS Lynk, a leading electronic payments processor, two community financial institutions and the William Mills Agency, the nation’s largest public relations firm serving technology companies in the banking and payments industries.

Collin Flotta, director of operations for Moneta, joined the company from American Express where he led operations for the eBilling business unit. He brings 10 years of experience in the financial services industry including management roles at Total Systems, Inc. and Harbor Payments.
