Cary, NC, May 25, 2006 --(PR.com
)-- Tom Sturgis, president of Integrated Clinical Trial Services (ICTS), a company providing innovative and efficient patient-oriented solutions to the clinical research industry, will participate in a 90-minute audio seminar to discuss the use of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to enhance revenue through contract research and clinical trials, on June 1. The seminar will focus on how EHRs help identify, manage and recruit eligible patients for clinical trials.
“The number of clinical trials being offered has doubled within the past year and most physicians are occupied with daily patient care. They do not think about enrolling patient in a study,” said Sturgis. “The EHRs will help the doctors evaluate patient eligibility and determine if they meet the criteria for the study.”
