C.belly Belts recently launched it's new collection of kids belts. Faced with the many challenges of conventional belts, C.belly belts unique open-front design and velcro closures makes using belts easy for children of all ages.
Shawnee, KS, October 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- After her daughter started first grade and attended school all day, Lynn Crist was faced with some unusual medical problems. When entering school, children are expected to be potty-trained and able to use the restroom without assistance from teachers. However, using the restroom may generate fear for those kids that need to wear belts. For many young kids, including Crist’s daughter, the solution to the problem is to stop using the school restroom and wait until they have returned home. Unfortunately, a ban on the school restrooms can lead to some undesirable medical outcomes and after two bladder infections, Crist decided there had to be a better solution.
Like many children, Crist’s daughter frequently needs to wear a belt to keep clothes on her tall, thin frame. Adorable belts for girls are not in short supply and it isn’t difficult to find hot pink, shiny purple, or spicy orange adorned with glitter and shiny jewels. However, these belts are not typically kid-friendly and can be very difficult to use. Most are simply adult belts made to fit a smaller waist but still require a great deal of dexterity to operate.
After an exhaustive search in retail stores, Crist found only conventional belts that completely circled the waist with buckles, tie knots or snap closures. “We tried a few of the belts but my daughter struggled with them and was not confident she could operate them when at school,” remarks Crist. A search on the internet, found the same type of traditional belts.
Crist was not ready to give-up and resort to only elastic waistband clothing, so she and her daughter decided to develop their own belt. After a year of fine-tuning, C.belly Belts was born. C.belly belts are unique because they do not cross the front of the clothing, use simple kid-friendly closures, focuses on comfort and are very stylish. The selling feature of this belt is it does not completely encircle the waist. The front of the clothing is not covered by the belt. This allows the wearer to use the restroom or change clothes without ever having to adjust or remove the belt. Once the belt is on, it’s hands free!
The C.belly belts for kids are not only functional but also help to enhance self-esteem and build confidence in children of all ages. They are so simple to use, most kids can easily operate themselves. Young children, who are potty training, can wear the C.belly belt and still practice using the potty without interference from a belt.
