National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) Extends Offer of Services for Ennis, Knupp and Associates

NAMWOLF Offers Assistance to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Bailout Investment Manager.

Chicago, IL, October 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Last week, the U.S. Treasury Department announced Chicago-based Ennis, Knupp and Associates will oversee the bailout portfolio under the Trouble Asset Relief Program (TARP), the national bailout plan passed by Congress in early October. As the portfolio manager, EnnisKnupp will be responsible for:
· developing investment guidelines;
· selecting firms to manage the distressed assets;
· identifying potential conflicts of interest;
· and seeking out qualified minority and female-owned businesses to work on behalf of the portfolio as federally required by the TARP legislation.

The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), a national trade association which promotes diversity in the legal profession by connecting minority- and women-owned law firms with private and/or public entities, will offer its services to Ennis, Knupp and Associates. As EnnisKnupp is looking for qualified minority- and women-owned businesses to work on behalf of the portfolio, NAMWOLF would be able to connect them to qualified law firms across the country due to the organization’s fully-developed and well-vetted members.

“Over the next few months EnnisKnupp will be looking for minority and women-owned businesses to work with them on the portfolio and NAMWOLF can easily connect them with these companies,” said Yolanda Coly, managing director of NAMWOLF. “Since NAMWOLF began in 2001 we have been working with only law firms that demonstrate an excellence in their field.”
