Magnussen Home First Ever Factory Direct Sale in Riverside, Ca., Offers Discounts Up to 75% Off Wholesale on $10 Million in Inventory

Magnussen Home, which has its only distribution facility in Riverside, Ca., has opened its 400,000 square foot warehouse to the public for the first time ever beginning October, 30, 2008. Magnussen Home has produced quality home furnishings since 1931.

Riverside, CA, October 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Magnussen Home, which has produced quality home furnishings since 1931, will offer consumers the first ever opportunity to purchase items factory direct starting Thursday, October 30, when the company begins the liquidation of $10 million in inventory at its Riverside, Ca., distribution facility, it was announced today.

Magnussen Home will offer merchandise from its expansive inventory at prices up to 75% off of wholesale costs. The Magnussen Home distribution facility is located at 2325 Cottonwood Ave. in Riverside.

The Magnussen Home facility will be open to consumers weekdays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. The limited time sale will last until the liquidation is completed.

The first time ever Magnussen Home sale will feature items from its entire inventory, including furniture designed for use in living rooms, dining rooms, master bedrooms, guest rooms, dens, studies and media rooms. The inventory will be available in the full range of Magnussen Home styles such as
casual contemporary, classic / traditional, contemporary / modern, country, eclectic / exotic, rustic and transitional.

The Magnussen Home distribution center in Riverside, Ca., will be reapportioned for the event with areas set aside to display products in a showroom setting by category and by type of product. Purchases can be made using cash, check or credit card.

Magnussen Home is based in High Point, NC. The company, however, was founded in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, by Ingwer Magnussen, a cabinetmaker and furniture craftsman. Unable to find work at the outset of the Great Depression, Magnussen began creating beautifully and intricately carved sofa frames for upholstery manufacturers. Magnussen Home has since evolved into a full line international furniture manufacturer.
