Help Santa Help Kids

A free public event to benefit for Operation: Kid Equip on December 11, 2008. This special event will raise awareness and funds for Operation: Kid Equip, an organization that provides free school supply kits to low-income and poor children in Southeastern Michigan in September and January of each year.

Royal Oak, MI, November 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Leon & Lulu in Clawson will be hosting a free event for Operation: Kid Equip on December 11, 2008. This special event will raise awareness and funds for Operation: Kid Equip, an organization that provides free school supply kits to low-income and poor children in Southeastern Michigan in September and January of each year.

As a special treat, Santa Claus is flying in from the North Pole to help Operation: Kid Equip tell everyone about its very special mission. Bring your kids and camera for pictures with Santa, learn about the organization, sponsor a school supply kit, shop for unique gifts, bid on great silent auction items, enjoy free traditional roller rink fare (hot dogs, popcorn, sweets, and refreshments) served by skillful skating elf waiters, entertainment and more.

Parents, teachers, administrators, media and the general public are encouraged to attend this free event.
