Sonitrol Pacific Sensors Detect, Deputies Arrest Two

Lakewood, WA, November 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sheriff’s deputies arrived at a Washington middle school less than seven minutes after receiving a call from Sonitrol Pacific and arrested two suspected intruders November 1.

Sonitrol Pacific Operator Minta Christopherson received an audio signal activation from the school immediately followed by a additional alarms, including real-time audio of what sounded like glass breaking from the gym area, and she dispatched deputies. Christopherson continued to receive audio signals and heard sounds of movement.

Deputies arrived at the school in about six minutes and apprehended two suspected intruders.

This incident represents the 4,983rd time Sonitrol Pacific has assisted law enforcement in the apprehension of suspected criminals since 1978. The company provides electronic security technology to schools and businesses in the Pacific Northwest.
