ISMG Interviews NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland

Publisher of BankInfoSecurity.com and CUinfoSecurity.com announces a timely new podcast interview with Gigi Hyland, Board Member of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

Princeton, NJ, November 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Information Security Media Group (ISMG), publisher of BankInfoSecurity.com and CUinfoSecurity.com, announces a timely new podcast interview with Gigi Hyland, Board Member of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

ISMG this week introduced a new podcast interview with National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board Member Gigi Hyland regarding current economic conditions and their impact on the nation’s credit unions. The interview was hosted by Editorial Director Tom Field.

In this interview, Hyland discusses:

- The state of the nation's credit unions;
- What credit unions must do to succeed at winning new members and deposits;
- How prepared credit unions are for ID Theft Red Flags Rule compliance;
- The top three challenges for credit unions in 2009.

“It’s a pleasure and privilege to speak to such a distinguished leader of a regulatory agency,” Field says. “Ms. Hyland is candid and insightful, and her remarks do shed light on the hard times all financial institutions are facing.”

The Hyland interview is but one of several recent podcasts released by ISMG in response to the global economic crisis. Others include interviews with thought-leaders from Aite Group, TowerGroup, the American Bankers Association and the Nebraska Bankers Association.

“Podcast technology is a great way to reach out to a wider segment of the credit union system and the public,” says Board Member Hyland in an NCUA press release announcing the interview. “It affords credit unions the chance to hear real-time information on current issues.”
