Questar Reveals Newly Upgraded Hierarchy Manager Application

Questar has implemented a new hierarchy manager tool into their portal system, allowing companies performing employee surveys to manage the departmental structures of their organization on their own.

Minneapolis, MN, November 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- To best accommodate the changing needs of clients, Questar’s Organizational Insights Group is pleased to announce the release of the new Hierarchy Manager tool. This new addition to our web-based survey system will allow administrators to edit their organization’s departmental structure, giving clients more control and independence in their survey initiatives. Clients will no longer have to rely on Questar to make such changes in the web portal. This feature is an essential part of making the survey process as quick and efficient as possible for clients.

Administrators using the portal in their survey process will have full control over their company structure in the system, now having the capability to add and delete categories, copy entire organizational pieces, and move individuals and groups. This is all possible through utilizing the tool’s new “drag and drop” functionality, making it simple for administrators to manage this aspect of the survey process themselves. Another feature of the new tool is the new ability to upload and export hierarchies to a spreadsheet format.

“We continually hear from our clients that managing the department structure is one of the most complex and time consuming pieces of their organizational survey initiative. Developing a tool that makes this process easy, efficient and valuable for our clients was the goal. Through client feedback and using our own expertise, Questar’s portal now has a module to provide this capability,” mentions Steve Mars, Vice President for Questar’s Organizational Insights Group. Software Development Manager Jeff Caron adds, “We are very excited about the new interface which allows our clients the ability to manipulate their organizational reporting structure, as well as the process improvements this tool provides for our survey results reporting.”
